Until now no real alternative to current building solutions were available. We daily see attempts to improve, but the reality of change is “very dramatic” for an industry that is driven by repetitive proven method. With constant evolution in standards and pressures to have certifiable qualities, QuickSpan is now in a position to deliver user-friendly building solutions driven by performance.
We did not design a product that the industry MUST USE or HAVE TO ADAPT TO, but managed to perfected a building system / solution based on an century old principal. The principal of an I-beam can be described as two strong skins kept apart by a lightweight inner section exactly like the carton in a carton box or the wing of a airplane. A cladded frame.

QuickSpan have all its products tested at a materials testing facility that measure the material characteristics of components used in our building sections. These building sections are then put through a simulation using a very sophisticated FEA (finite element analysis) program to verify that all designs, prescribed codes, and customer requirements are met. This program analyse reactions of applied loads like cyclones or earthquakes. Results on stresses, deflections, and safety factors are then available for all components of the complete structure. These findings are then verified by independent national engineers. This knowledge is then combined with known material data and reliable performance predictions are then documented.
The principal is to support design flexibility and make products to suit the plans.
